went to school to climb today.
supposed to meet wan at 10am but i was still sleeping on my lovely bed at 950am. i was dead-tired. wasnt able to get a good sleep, was woken several times during the night for some wierd reasons. lucky he din scold me. haha. i bet he doesnt dare too. haha
met azhar on the train. he was reading through his notes.
chat with him quite a bit (from eunos to dover)
he was telling me bout his university life was. that lectures are all "CONCEPTS", everything built up on the fundamentals of the poly 3-yrs course. telling me, everything is alot tougher than poly courses. he's a smart guy who aced his 3-yr course, graduating with a COM- cert of merit which is a great recognition for students, whose result slips are filled with distinctions and As. wonder if i can get it too. hope i can be as hardworking as him man!
when i went in to the sports hall, i was stunned by the pig sty-ish view of our boulder gym. Crashpads werent arranged properly, extra ones are stacked all over the place, rock shoes are everywhere, tiles lying around, food left overs dirited the tables, lounge in a mess. The worst is the amount of dust that has accumulated throughout the months! i wonder how can people climb in such an environment man! spring cleaning session are organised but to no avail. gosh! need help to get the gym cleaned up man! by hook or by crook.
climb- ranged from LOUSY to MODERATE. my finger strength and locking power is lousy. footwork and techniques are rusty. i guess everything worsen when i take a 1 week plus break away from climbing. time to climb consistently.
school is starting soon. i resolve to study harder for the nxt sem! ya, jinli just said that we've always say tt we are gonna work extra hard in the beginning,always.. then end up being distracted. haha this is DAMN TRUE!
hope its nt the case for this sem...
